Web Catalog & Circulation NewsEnhanced Security on the Berkeley Public Library Web Catalog! In order to protect library users' personal information, the Berkeley Public Library has implemented Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and a Security Certificate on the Web Catalog. By accepting the certificate when presented with it, when accessing the “My Account” feature on the Library’s Web Catalog, all transmissions between the client computer and the Library’s Catalog will be encrypted to prevent “sniffing” or other unauthorized capturing of users’ personal information.
