Description: 
Private nonprofit agency serving low-income children, youth, and young adults ages 6-24 from Berkeley and surrounding cities in Alameda County and Contra Costa County.
Services: 
Services include individual, group, and family counseling; Parents Association; career development; after school center and academic support; college preparation; GED support; pre-vocational training; teen services; summer jam camp program; mentoring; health & garden training programs. . Sports programs focus on sports and recreation activities, including basketball. Steps to Success program offers job preparedness training for ages 14/18. Volunteer program for coaches, tutors, mentors, etc.; orientation twice per month; six-month commitment.
Eligible: 
Youth ages 6 to 24 years.
