Organization serving residents (and their families) of skilled nursing facilities and licensed residential care facilities for elderly by working to improve the quality of life for Alameda County's frail elderly.
Services: 
Serves long-term care, intermediate, geriatric, and psychiatric facilities in Alameda County with certified trained Ombudsman volunteers; Volunteers handle complaints, provide information and referrals, monitor conditions of care, and perform community outreach/education; Volunteer training is 36 hours and requires a minimum commitment of one year.
